The Greater Southwest Black Chamber of Commerce was founded and organized in 2003 by Ms. Linda S. Gray.

Our mission is to provide the building blocks to: Educating minority-owned businesses to understand the importance of how to do business and who to do business with; and to work with entities that can assist in bringing more revenue to your businesses.

We help the minority-consumer market and business community in many ways by helping them to understand the importance of commerce.

To provide a strong economic base and improve the business conditions for all minority, women, disadvantaged business enterprises throughout southwest Dallas County.
To encourage networking, business expansion, education, inter-business support, as well as assist our members in identifying creative and innovative business opportunities.
To develop and enhance opportunities for minority, women, disadvantaged businesses throughout southwest Dallas County.
